All Life Is Motion
all life is motion
continuous motion
every second of every minute of every hour
life is going; never ceasing
and i'm a part of this great motion of life
it's exciting to be a part of
just think life is always moving; always going
just like our own lives
we have something to be aware of
this very presence of life
is calling out our names
saying be aware - life is moving
life is full of life and life is plentiful
i am glad to be a part of life
it is meaningful to me now
and i will move with life now
not against it
i will find my way in this life
i can and i must for i have it in me now to do so
oh, this is an exciting time for me
exploring who i fully am

Life as we know it
Life As We Know It
life as we know it
is full of injustice
yet is just for all
if full of self pride
yet is proud for all
is full of insecurity
yet is secure for all
yes, this life as we know it
is not as always as we might expect or hope for
yet is to be expected and longed for
oh, life is often a contradiction in terms
yet has more meaning than you might realize
i'm learning today
life is more than what just meets the eyes
life is more than what just meets the ears
life is more than what meets all the senses combined
life, i am finding, is about what matters most to us
for, you see, we all set our priorities
today love and happiness are most important to me
and i'm grateful that i have found that now
even on a basic level
i can appreciate all that i have
and i'm really thankful
for everyone that is in my life

Acceptance
Acceptance Is Key
acceptance or denial
do i live a life accepting my present circumstances
knowing i have the power to change them
or do i live in denial of them
i have to remember that what i resist persists
and what i accept in my life i can do something about
acceptance is key
acceptance is the start of something wonderful
today, i want to accept my life for what it is
and what it can become
there's no more hiding or living in denial anymore
for i choose not to
i choose now to confront the issues in my life
now it is bearable; now i am content
i reach within and pull out courage
i pull out the wisdom to know the difference
between what makes my life manageable and unmanageable
i have the power to overcome and the capabilities now
to let people know i am serious about my life
for i will try and do my best
do i live a life accepting my present circumstances
knowing i have the power to change them
or do i live in denial of them

looking up
instead of looking down
choosing to live positively
rather than living with a frown
for today, i'm choosing to be optimistic about life
yes, today i'm high on life
why live life down in the dumps
when i can live my life in stride
now i'm looking up
for there i see my hope
no more giving up on life
in my god, i daily cope
yes, today, life is looking up
i've got the stamina to pull me through
now i'm determined to make it
because i have a lot to prove
looking up
it just gets better
when you see life in a positive way
you become the trend setter
instead of looking down
choosing to live positively
rather than living with a frown

i'm thankful
thankful for all that i've received
for we must live in gratitude
it just makes our lives easier
for if we live in gratitude
we focus on the positive in our lives
we realize that our own life is not as bad
as we think it may be

and focus on what we've been given
you'll be amazed at what this can do for you
yes, positivity will result

what wonderful news i have received today
it is news from myself
news to move forward in this new year
and to accomplish what i haven't before - success
i know i will go far this year in the new year
i am all about success now
and sometimes i have to remind myself of it
success; what a powerful word it is
and i must claim it
i must take it in and call it my own
for this new year will be a successful year
in every way
i've got to believe it
i've got to hold on to this hope that inspires me so

The Spirit Of Giving
tis the season of giving
for when we give we truly receive
it's not about trying to amass gifts
it's about giving them away
for the more we give away the more we will get back
it's a spiritual wealth we gain
and i'm in for the season of giving
i'm ready to give back to the world
for the world has been so good to me
life has been good to me
and i thank my maker for giving me the opportunity
to live another day
yes, my god has been so generous to me
in every dimension
it's the least i can do
to give back to him and my fellow man
when we give we receive; oh, how it goes full circle
i'm finally getting the message of true life
and it's wonderful

The Seemingly Impossible
the seemingly impossible
in a world that says
i can't do it
in a world that says
that i can't accomplish my goals
and achieve my aspirations
but the impossible does not have to occur
i remember now to reach within
and believe that i can do it
to see that this world is full of opportunities
i just have to seize them
and make the best of them
i don't have to succumb
to anything less than giving it my all
yes, now i see life is what i make it
life is exceedingly good
for now i see each day as seemingly possible
now i see the world in a favorable way
for now i know the world is on my side
now i will do what i say i will do
and my actions will reflect it

I Woke Up Yesterday
I Woke Up Yesterday
i woke up yesterday
and my car wouldn't start
but i decided right there and then
that i had a choice
it was going to be a good day
no matter what
i decided i could see the positive in it
or i could pout
and just feel miserable
i decided to see the positive in it
yes, my car was towed to the dealership
and i had to miss work
but on the bright side
at least i got a day off from work
that was positive, right
so i'm learning to see the positive in life every day
and some days are better than others
but now i know i have a daily choice
and i make that choice at the beginning of each day
it's just better to be positive than be negative
and my car wouldn't start
but i decided right there and then
that i had a choice
it was going to be a good day
no matter what
i decided i could see the positive in it
or i could pout
and just feel miserable
i decided to see the positive in it
